    A Brooks County dispute over the will of an elderly woman's $500,000 estate, which a man who is unrelated to her family, claims she intended to leave to him, was set to be heard in the Georgia Supreme Court next week, but the case has been settled. The Supreme Court issued a notice Thursday afternoon that the parties in the case have come to an agreement, and they are withdrawing the case.

    The Georgia State Patrol says that warrants have been issued for the arrest of Clifford Daniel Hadley, who caused a fatal head-on wreck last November in Echols County. The Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team had been investigating the crash on J. Frank Culpepper Road that occurred November 14. They determined that Hadley crossed over into the land of the victims' car, and Hadley had a blood alcohol level almost three times the legal limit, at .221.
