Riverside's Fox theater and municipal auditorium did better than expected in 2016, hosting more events and making more money than originally planned, officials said Tuesday, Dec. 6. Though the Fox sold fewer tickets overall than projected in the 2015-16 fiscal year, the theater finished the year in the black, as did the Riverside Municipal Auditorium, said Amir Mertaban, who manages the city-owned venues for Live Nation.
