    An incident during Merino's Fall Festival Saturday has prompted the appointing of a Logan County Sheriff's Office investigator to a one-man clown task force. According to an LCSO press release, deputies were called to a report of "suspicious activity" Saturday at around 8 p.m. Two people dressed as clowns were allegedly chasing children and adults with weapons.
