    Skeletal remains possibly belonging to a missing 23-year-old man were found Saturday afternoon by two members of Texas EquuSearch in a section of woods in Liberty County, deputies said. The remains were found around 1:05 p.m. Saturday just west of CR 2003 in Hardin, according to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.

    The possible remains of a Liberty County man, who has been missing for nearly three and a half months, were discovered Saturday. Skeletal remains were found by two members of Texas EquuSearch in a section of woods just west of CR 2003 in Hardin, Texas at around 1:05 p.m. Although a confirmed identity cannot be made until an autopsy is conducted and dental records and DNA testing can be completed, from the description of clothing found at the scene which matches the clothing worn by Christopher Maes, 23. The family of Christopher Maes reported their son missing after he left their home on the morning of August 28th.
