    An elderly woman in Hinesville narrowly missed a bullet coming through her home in Hinesville after shots were fired in the Arlington Subdivision off the Elma G. Miles Parkway on Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m. According to Hinesville Police Department Detective, Jeff Lui, a domestic dispute between a man and a woman led to the gun fire. The woman alledgely fired one round at the man while he was headed West on Elma G. Mile Parkway.

A few years ago I ran into a very gallant gentleman who has shared with me his interest in photography, travel and the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. Howard Hackney and his wife Pat invited me out early last year and have diligently called, texted and emailed to make sure I wouldn't miss this historic event.
