    Thanks to the relatively dry conditions, Lewis County officials plan to open the all-terrain vehicle trail system early this year, even before the annual Snirt Run. Following a brief discussion at Monday's legislative Economic Development Committee meeting, it was decided to kick off the season April 11. That will still need to be approved by the full Legislature April 5. While county officials tentatively plan May 1 for opening day, they typically kick the season off earlier when conditions allow.
