    A former Moulton Middle School teacher pleaded not guilty in Lawrence County Circuit Court this morning to sexual misconduct with a high school student last spring. Taylor Brooks Boyles, 27, 5216 County Road 87, Moulton, was charged with being a school employee engaging in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19, according to court records.

"I'll never forget the panic look in those mules' eyes when they couldn't get up, and the man kept beating them with a cedar post.
