    An incident in Fairfield Township July 31 resulted in a search of a residence by the Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office, Kossuth County Sheriff's Office, Algona Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. According to Palo Alto County Sheriff Lynn Schultes, the Palo Alto County Sheriff's Office was contacted at 10:25 a.m. Friday, July 31, in regards to an individual shooting at an aerial spray plane owned by Steier Ag Aviation of Whittemore, while it was conducting routine spraying of a field in Palo Alto County.
