According to reports, authorities were dispatched to a residence located on HCR 3350 South near Hubbard in reference to a domestic dispute. Reports indicated that the suspect identified as Kenneth Coot-ware of Hubbard held a knife up to his girlfriend, identified as a 55-year-old Hubbard woman, during an argument.

    The Department of Public Safety held a TASK Force in Hill County which led to multiple traffic stops and five arrests Wednesday, January 27. According to reports, at 9:50 a.m. authorities made contact with a driver, identified as a 24-year-old Mexia woman, on Interstate 35 south of Itasca. She was detained after a computer check revealed that she was wanted out of Tarrant County for assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

    The Hill County Sheriff's Office made two arrests after performing a warrant service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 26. According to reports, authorities made contact with a 27-year-old Abbott man, identified as Mark McGregor, and a 27-year-old Arlington woman, identified as Ashlie Santos, on HCR 3110 North, north of Abbott. McGregor had several warrants out of multiple agencies for his arrest including, two theft of property charges from the cities of Waxahachie and Irving, bond forfeiture for a failure to appear on a possession of marijuana charge out of Ellis County and He was also had two Johnson County warrants for revocation of probation on a theft of property by possession charge and a criminal mischief.

    A felony arrest was made by the Hill County Sheriff's Office at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday, January 27. Reports indicated that authorities received a call from a 29-year-old Hillsboro man stating that he was traveling west on Highway 22 west of Hillsboro when another vehicle, driven by Misty Adkins of Bynum, began chasing him and ramming his car. The chase between the two vehicles ended near the intersection of Farm Road 903 and Highway 22 when Constable David Bledsoe made a traffic stop on the aggressive motorist.
