The reporter stated the theft was to take place between the dates of June 15, and June 21, 2014, while Hilliard's were attending the Florida Cattlemen's Convention.

    Citing concerns about the potential spread of Ebola, the Animal Legal Defense Fund has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Hendry County residents after the county approved a primate breeding facility that could hold as many as 3,200 long-tailed macaques of a species linked to prior outbreaks of infectious disease. The News-Press reports that according to a release by the national nonprofit group, Hendry County approved the controversial project behind closed doors with only the facility's supporters present and failed to hold the public hearing required by the state's Sunshine Law.

Aztec, Apt.3 in Clewiston. The search warrant was a result of reports by local businesses in the Hendry County area that individuals were circulating counterfeit bills.
