    Grant County, Indiana to Ora and Annabelle Glover Gwynn. Mrs. Shinn had worked for the former Hook's Drugs and later for CVS. She was also a hospice volunteer for 15 years and served the community through Meals on Wheels for 15 years before retiring in 2013. She was a faithful member of the Bible Community Methodist Church in Gas City. Mrs. Shinn will be missed by her daughters, Theresa Goretzke, Donja Shinn and Deana Shinn; step-daughter, Lisa Murray; step-son, Dean Shinn; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Shinn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Shinn, in 1986; daughter, Darla Hiers, in 1996 and a sister, Janice Callahan. A graveside ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City, Indiana. A memorial ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, at the Community Bible Methodist Church, 300 North 7th Street in Gas City. The Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, Fountain City, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed online at www.smithmcquistonwebster.com .
