    A man armed with a knife was shot in the leg by a sheriff's deputy after he refused to drop the weapon and made an aggressive move, reports say. According to the Columbus Dispatch , four deputies with the Fairfield County Sheriff's Department responded at 11:15 p.m. Saturday after receiving multiple calls of a man with a knife and acting irrational.

    A Fairfield County deputy shot a man late Saturday night who allegedly threatened people with a knife and refused to drop it when confronted by deputies.  The man was struck in the leg and is expected to survive, Fairfield Sheriff Dave Phalen said. The shooting happened at just before midnight on West Main Street in Bremen, a village of 1,400 people located about 40 miles southeast of Columbus.
