    A Berkeley County man was sentenced to 30 years in prison this week for a string of burglaries and a home invasion two years ago in which a mother was savagely beaten in front of her toddlers. Brandon Keith Sigmon, 32, of Westbrooke Road near Summerville pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of first-degree assault and battery, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of burglary, according to the 9th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
