    According the Sheriff Scott Rose at 11 a.m. on July 22, dispatch received a report of a plan crash on Dodge County Road 9, NE of Dodge Center. When deputies arrived they found a small personal airplane on its roof in the roadway on County 9, just south of 630th Street.

Larry Robert Wenthold, 37, who listed a South Dakota address, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Dodge County District Court to second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and was immediately sentenced to 52 months in prison.

The Troms maintained their stance that Dodge County "failed" to properly consider and address the environmental concerns relating to a 2,400 head swine feedlot that was constructed approximately six acres away from their home.

    A Kenyon woman has been charged with three felonies after trying to go through Dodge County Courthouse Security with a knife, drugs and hypodermic needles in her purse. According to the criminal complaint, Kayleigh Rea Todd, 19, was going through courthouse security on June 29, to attend a court hearing.
