Parham, 26, both of South Chesterfield, are now facing charges for their alleged involvement in the robbery that took place at the BB&T located on the 25000 block of Cox Road in North Dinwiddie. Burns was arrested and charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

    A grand jury has recommended that former Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Deputy Terrell Coles not be prosecuted for fatally shooting his brother, Brandon Coles, last month. The grand jury found that T. Coles, 24, acted in self defense when he shot and killed his brother, B. Coles, at the former deputy's home in the early-morning hours of Sunday, August 21. They suggest that "further prosecution efforts against Terrell Coles are not warranted or not advised."
