Although multiple people were taken to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital from the crashes in DeKalb County, none seem to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

Members brought donations of art supplies to be given to local charities, including Gracie Center, Safe Passage, Hope Haven and the DeKalb County Home and Nursing Center.

    DeKALB - No serious injuries were reported in a two-car crash at the corner of Route 23 and Perry Road Friday afternoon that left a D Ryan Tree Service rolled onto its side and pinned against a tree. The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office and the DeKalb Fire Department responded to the incident a little after 1 p.m. DeKalb Sheriff's Office Deputy Bill Kaminski said two witnesses saw a white D Ryan Tree Service vehicle traveling northbound on Route 23 approaching the Perry Road intersection when a white SUV traveling east ran through a stop sign and struck the other vehicle.
