    Clare County Deputies were called out to a rollover crash "with entrapment" on Surrey Road at US-127 early Friday afternoon. Deputies were dispatched to the scene around 1 p.m. July 15. They discovered a black Jeep Cherokee had rolled over and the 28-year-old Lake Orion driver was unconscious in the vehicle.

    Kayaks that came off a Ford SUV on southbound US-127 Sunday afternoon caused an accident and rollover. According to a release from the Clare County Sheriff's Department, a Jackson man driving a 2008 Ford SUV lost two kayaks from the top of his vehicle on the freeway between Mannsiding and Hatton Roads.

    Shawn Steinkampf, 33 of Harrison is facing three felony charges after he allegedly stabbed another man near the S&R Diner in Harrison last Thursday just before midnight. According to a release from the Clare County Sheriff's Department, Deputies responded to "a call of "a male chasing another male with a knife behind S&R Diner" in Harrison around 11:56 p.m. Deputies responding to the call found two me fighting behind the diner.

Geoffrey Slade, 31, is being held on a $50,000 bond after Clare County District Judge Joshua Farrell oversaw his arraignment on two felony charges of operating or maintaining a laboratory involving methamphetamine and methamphetamine possession.
