    The Department of Transportation will continue to daily close the right lane in each direction on the Morehead City-Atlantic Beach Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway and Bogue Sound until 10 a.m., July 15, and again on Monday, July 18 at 10 a.m. until July 22. The closures are necessary for crews to inspect the bridge for an upcoming preservation project that is anticipated to have a contract awarded as early as December 2016. It is not work that can be done at night, or that can wait until after the summer.
