She was born in Hortense, Ga., on March 13, 1929, daughter of the late Rollie Pearson and the late Bessie Barnard Pearson. She is survived by three children Marshall Darley, Jean Wood, Sue Whitten ; three sisters, Joan Amerson, Mattie Lou Stevens and Nell Hemby; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
