    Bangor >> Human remains were found near Bangor on Friday, and the Butte County Sheriff's Office said the circumstances surrounding the person's death is being considered “suspicious.” A Bangor resident found the remains on a property near Upham Road, according to a news release issued by the Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's detectives and search and rescue volunteers responded to the area and were able recover “all the remains,” according to the release.
