    The man, identified by the Butte County Coroner's Office as Floyd Rogers, was driving a 1993 Ford Taurus northbound on Powerhouse Hill Road and was stopped at the intersection with Ophir Road at about 12:35 p.m. For an unknown reason, Rogers pulled in front of an oncoming 2012 Ford F-350 eastbound on Ophir Road at about 45 mph. The 17-year-old male driver of the F-350 attempted to steer around the Taurus, but couldn't avoid a collision, according to a California Highway Patrol report, and crashed into the driver's side, creating major damage.
