    Cranberry Township got at least 3 inches by this morning, but the main roads were clear by 7:30 a.m. Buffalo Township got 2 to 3 inches, and the roads were in better shape by about 7 a.m. In Middlesex Township about a mile from the Allegheny/Butler county line, about 2 inches was reported, and Route 8 was slushy. Further north on Route 8 in Penn Township, the highway was clearer with about an inch of snow on the ground.
