    Deputies are investigating after an inmate accused of murdering his mother and stepfather appears to have committed suicide at the Buncombe County Detention Facility. A news release from the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office said that detention officers discovered 26-year-old Vincent Thomas Wesley Franklin attempting suicide around 12:10 a.m. Officers attempted CPR and EMS personnel also attempted to revive Franklin, but they were unsuccessful.
