    The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said alcohol was a factor in a rollover crash about one mile north of Waumandee on County Road U Thursday night. The Sheriff's Office said Edgar S. Tecpile, 23, of Cochrane, was driving an older model Buick Electra northbound from Waumandee at about 9 p.m. when he crossed the center of the road and went into the ditch and rolled several times.

    The Buffalo County Sheriff's Department said 64-year-old Timothy Hesselschwardt was traveling northbound when he lost control of his 2002 Harley and entered the ditch, striking a culvert and ejecting 67-year-old passenger Charollette Choate. Hesselschwardt was transported by Medlink Helicopter to Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse, while Choate was transported by Alma Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries to Winona Hospital.

    The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office received a report of a motorcycle crash on Highway 88 south of County Highway EE in the Town of Lincoln. According to authorities, initial investigation showed that Timothy Hesselschwardt, 64, from Chippewa Falls was driving northbound on Highway 88 when he lost control of his motorcycle and entered a ditch striking a culvert, or drain.
