    Two men indicted in a Brantley County guns-for-methamphetamine case are a few days closer to the closure of their cases, with one defendant pleading guilty Monday in U.S. District Court in Brunswick, and another signing a plea agreement Oct. 20. Anthony J. Parse pleaded guilty to the lesser-included offense of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a quantity of methamphetamine. He previously faced a conspiracy charge with a defined amount - 50 grams or more - along with a count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
