    NOLANVILLE As Nolanville prepares to impose city taxes on the nearly 100 homeowners inside the 676 acres of land it wants to annex, a KCEN HD News investigation revealed City Mayor David Escobar is behind on his own taxes. According to the Bell County Tax Appraisal District, $570.09 was owed on the mayor's property, as of May 16. The county also confirmed $135.14 was owed on Mayor Pro Tem Lawrence Reis' house, as of the morning of May 16. Later that day, after KCEN HD News began asking questions of the city, the amount due on Reis' property was paid in full.
