Campos was one of only two defendants indicted when grand jurors met on April 2. The indictment included a third degree felony charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm and a first degree felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

According to a report at the Bee County Sheriff's Office, the National Weather Service was not confirming that it was a tornado that caused the damage but a deputy in a neighboring county reported seeing a funnel hitting the ground.
