    At a called meeting, board members approved 5-0 a tentative consolidated budget of $160,902,231 in overall revenues and $183,299,090 in expenditures for fiscal year 2017, including a balanced general fund budget of $113.6 million, a 3.3 percent increase from FY16. Approved as part of the general fund budget were the annual salary step raises for all eligible staff members, a one-time 2 percent pay supplement for all eligible employees, a $500,000 increase in health insurance for certified employees and no furlough days.
