    In about a month, voters in Wisconsin will decide whether to re-elect Justice Ann Walsh Bradley to a third 10-year term on the state Supreme Court, or replace her with James Daley, a Rock County circuit judge. The U.S. government made $124.7 billion in improper payments to individuals in fiscal year 2014, up significantly from the previous year's total of $105.8 billion, a new report from the Government Accountability Office reveals.

    In a not-entirely-unexpected move, Gogebic Taconite said late last week it would no longer actively pursue its proposed $1.5-billion iron ore mine in Ashland and Iron counties.
