John Russel James Cochran, 22, residing at 4 Witte Road, Guilderland, was arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on a number of charges including unauthorized use of a blue light, unregistered motor vehicle and open container of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

    An Albany man has new charges to face after first showing up in Bethlehem Town Court for a larceny charge, according to the Bethlehem P.D. William Wynne, 45, of Albany was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance , and Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument after he was found on Tuesday, Feb. 2 with heroin and needles in his jacket during a routine screening to enter the court, police said. Wynne was arraigned by Judge Ryan Donovan and sent to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail and is due back in Bethlehem Court on March 1. Wynne was scheduled to appear in Bethlehem Town Court on a petty larceny charge stemming from a shoplifting arrest in September 2015.
