Big BAM is a cross-state bicycle ride and music festival, from the Missouri to the Mississippi River, which covers 300 miles and includes more than two dozen bands at different stops during the five-day ride. Bicycles will be arrive in Adair County June 25th traveling from Unionville Missouri on Hwy 149 southbound to Novinger, approximately 1,000 bicycle and slow moving vehicle, turning left onto Hwy 6 traveling to Kirksville most of the morning and afternoon hours, arriving at Rotary Park in Kirksville. A northeast Missouri man was flown from the scene of an afternoon motorcycle crash to a Columbia hospital for treatment. It happened right around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, seven miles northeast of Kirksville on Highway 11. Adair County Sheriff Robert Hardwick told KTVO at the scene it appeared the operator of the motorcycle, Todd Bleything, 51, of Brashear, was attempting to pass another vehicle. Comment?
