    The art and life of Howard Munce , the "dean" of Westport artists who died in March at 100 years old, will be showcased at a May 14 program at the Westport Arts Center . The event, free and open to the public, will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the arts center, 51 Riverside Ave. "Howard Munce was an incredibly generous and talented man, whose guiding influence helped shape the Westport Arts Center as well as the larger arts community of Westport," Amanda Innes , the arts center's acting executive director, said in publicity for the event.
