    Shares of Rite Aid Corp. were down almost 25 percent in morning trading, falling below $3 for the first time in four years, after the Walgreens chain said it had cancelled plans to buy the Camp Hill, Pa.-based drugstore company and its 4,400 locations. Instead, Walgreens, based in suburban Chicago, said it will pay $5.175 billion for about  2,200, or half, of Rite Aid's stores.
