Information about how the accident occurred was unavailable at the time of the report. A resident was working in his garage in the 4200 block of South Ravinia Drive when he saw a group of males looking into the windows and trying to open the doors on his work truck parked across the street at about 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4. When he yelled at them to get away from his truck some of the suspects fled while several others ran towards him and physically assaulted him.
