    Thursday evening just before 6 three people were injured in a two vehicle accident on US 31 at 11th Road. According to Deputy Halfke with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Bruce Hollett of Plymouth was traveling east on 11th Road in a 2014 Ford pickup when he failed to yield to traffic and stuck a 2008 Ford SUV driven by Jorge Rivera of Argos who was traveling north on U.S. 31. Following in initial impact, Rivera's vehicle rolled into 2006 GM pickup truck driven by Tony Taylor of Plymouth who was stopped westbound on 11th Road waiting to cross U.S. 31. All four occupants of Rivera's SUV received minor injuries in the accident.

    Nils Lamberson of Plymouth was north bound on Rose Road in a 2004 F-150 about 9:20 a.m. He told County Police Officer Jordan Rans that he had stopped at the sign on Rose Road, checked for traffic and pulled into the intersection. That's when he saw a car south bound on Plymouth LaPorte Trail.

KentuckyOne, a unit of Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, said it's cutting 250 jobs, though some of the cuts represent employees moving to University of Louisville Hospital in advance of KentuckyOne turning management of the hospital back to U of L on July 1. "KentuckyOne Health is taking the difficult action of reducing employee positions, primarily in corporate service departments," the company said a statement Tuesday.
