    Justin Stead, 36, appeared in Bracebridge court on March 21 to plead guilty to two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of breaching probation conditions after stealing nearly $600-worth of perfume from a Shoppers Drug Mart in Bracebridge. According to Crown attorney Ted Carlton, store staff saw Stead on surveillance video with two bottles totalling $181 in value on March 3. Carlton noted Stead had been behind bars serving a 100-day sentence shortly before the thefts and was subject to an 18-month probation order.
