    Subaru Corp.'s operating profit tumbled 27 percent in the just-ended fiscal year, as foreign exchange losses and spiraling costs broke a three-year run of record financial results. Subaru, which changed is corporate name from Fuji Heavy Industries on April 1, said operating income fell to 410.8 billion yen for the company's full fiscal year ended March 31. Net income dropped 35 percent to 282.4 billion yen .

Subaru, which changed its name from Fuji Heavy Industries in April, said it expected operating profit to ease 0.2 percent to 410.0 billion yen in the year to March.
