    Police are puzzled about why one man shot another to death at a Northeast Side street corner Thursday afternoon after the two had been riding in an SUV together right up to the time of the incident. Investigators say the victim and the suspect apparently knew each other, but when they got out of a vehicle described as a light colored SUV, possibly a KIA, at the intersection of Brooks Avenue and Indigo Way at approximately 1:34 p.m., one of the men pulled a handgun and shot the other for some reason, then fled into a townhome complex northeast of the scene, Homicide Unit first shift supervisor Sgt.
