    Two would-be burglars found themselves exchanging gunfire with the neighbor of their intended victim during a break-in in Franklinton Tuesday night. At 11:08 p.m., Carlton R. Huffman and an accomplice forced their way into Michael Certain's home on N. Guilford Avenue and shot him twice with a handgun, investigators with the Columbus police assault unit said.

    One man is under arrest but Columbus police say there are additional suspects in the death of a man found in a German Village home Tuesday afternoon. Officers responding to a call at a house in the 1300 block of Kossuth Street at approximately 4:29 p.m. found Calvin Jimerson, 49, inside.
