    Police say an Ohio man who stumbled onto a street in the dark of night was hit by a pickup truck and later died. Police say 59-year-old Matthew D. Fries, of Columbus, was seen lying in the grass at 12:44 a.m. Saturday on the side of the city's South High Street near Markison Avenue when he got up and fell into the street and was hit by the truck.
