    The Deseret News reports that Utah joined 15 other states in filing a brief asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear an appeal from the universities, which say the federal government is forcing them to provide birth control in violation of their faith or face millions in fines. The government has exempted small businesses from having to provide contraception without a copay, and Houston Baptist University, East Texas Baptist University and Pennsylvania's Westminster Theological Seminary argue that they should also get exemptions.
