    Approximately a dozen pieces of pottery that had been on display in Western New Mexico University's McCray Building were stolen sometime Sunday, April 26, prior to the theft being reported at 1:30 p.m., according to Abe Villarreal, Director of Communications for the university. Although there is no evidence to suspect forced entry to the building as faculty, students and others were in the building at the time, a padlock to the case containing the pottery was broken, Villarreal said.
