The archive - purchased by the university from Martin's estate for $250,000, according to the New York Times - includes more than 1,000 photo negatives tied to the marches as photos and documents from the trial of Ku Klux Klan member Collie Leroy Wilkins - tried for the 1965 shooting murder of Viola Liuzzo, a civil rights activist from Michigan who was transporting marchers from Montgomery back to Selma - and Alabama Governor George Wallace's 1968 presidential campaign.
