    Former MCLA President Mary Grant has been named president of The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate in Boston. Grant, who left the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2015 to become chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, will begin her new role in January 2018, according to a statement from the institute.
