Oxner Business Merit Scholarship is selected for excellence in scholastic achievement, service to the college, and potential in future academic accomplishment in graduate school leading to success in the business world and/or teaching at the college level. The Newberry College Awards Day Convocation is held annually in the spring and celebrates the outstanding student accomplishments in academics, extra-curricular activities and leadership in campus life.
