Pro Day is when draft scouts or draft directors for National Football League teams come to Division I and Division II schools to view the season's top draft prospects. To participate, one must either be originally from South Carolina or have played ball at a school within the state.

    Newberry College has earned the sixth seed in the Southeast Region of the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Tournament, which will be hosted by Limestone College in Gaffney this Friday, Saturday and the following Monday, Newberry is the sixth seed and gets a rematch with the third-seed Anderson Trojans in the first round of the tournament. The two sides met in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship game Sunday, with Newberry winning 64-58.
