The students lay on the ground in front of NJCU's library at 1 p.m. for four and a half minutes, a "die in" commemorating the four and a half hours Brown lay on the street after the officer, Darren Wilson, shot and killed him on Aug. 9. The fatal shooting led to months of unrest in Ferguson, a St. Louis suburb, that re-ignited last week when authorities announced that Wilson would face no charges.
