    Back on the mat: After a six-year absence, wrestling returns to Millikin University, a Division III school in east-central Illinois Six years after suspending its mat program, Millikin University will reinstate its wrestling program starting in the 2015-16 school year, the amateur wrestling website d3wrestle.com reported Monday. The Big Blue wrestling program, which competed in the CCIW from 1959 until 2008, will return to that conference to go up against Elmhurst College, Wheaton College, North Central College, and Augustana College of Illinois in NCAA Division III .

    Millikin University and the Macon County Continuum of Care will kick off Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week with its annual Box City event on November 14. The Box City event will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Miller Quad on Millikin University's campus, and is part of Millikin's "#END Campaign" to bring awareness to the community. Box City participants will donate one non-perishable food item to Decatur's Northeast Community Fund, and on November 15 they will walk to the Salvation Army in Decatur between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. in order to help serve breakfast at 8:30 a.m. National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual event held the week before Thanksgiving.
