Jason Chaffetz, graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Redlands in 1975 and earned a medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1984, spokeswomen from both universities confirmed. It's not clear whether Allen, a physician, is from the Inland Empire, although in an online bio , she mentions having worked as an aide to the late congresswoman Shirley Pettis in “California, my native state.” Pettis represented the Inland Empire in Congress in the 1970s.
