Heather Waterman-Huney-cutt, a 2011 graduate of Franklin College who competed in the cross-country national championship, died Sunday after the motorcycle she was driving struck a tree in Harnett County, North Carolina, near Fayetteville, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
